Isn't it amazing how the likes of Christian Hammer, Alexander Flores and Razvan Cojanu will fight him? They must have bigger balls than all the top 10 guys who apparently won't fight Ortiz.

It doesn't work like that. When Joshua had Povetkin as his WBA mandatory, he was also the WBO mandatory at the same time. It goes on rotation. It was the WBAs turn. So once Povetkin lost the WBO had to find a new mandatory and that was Usyk, for the time when their turn in the rotation would come. You can't clear off 2 at the same time.Comment

Nah I can’t see it tbh mate, there are easier and more financially beneficial routes. Parker is highly ranked with the WBC and WBO too, so he has options.Comment

Ortiz days as the boogeyman are gone. He's just passed the torch to Hrgovic like a proud dad.
Seriously though, Hrgovic's resume is abysmal. One could argue he shouldn't even be in the ibf top 10, let alone number 2.
I wanna see him against someone like Yoka Sanchez, Makhmudov or Gassiev. I doubt any of these fighters would turn down a fight against him. Hrgovic's handlers may not like this list though. 43 y-o Ortiz is probably more appealing to them. Parker is a good fight too.

How is Hrgovic so high by IBF at first place? This guy has never fought anybody any good. His best win is Molina, lol.
Really, Hrgovic should beat somebody like Gassiev, Wallin, Makhmudov, Kabayel, to prove his own value.Comment

I'm pretty sure he just did that. He rejected it to rematch Chisora for $$$. After that fight Hearn was talking of Parker maybe taking the Hrgovic fight. So I'm guessing its already been discussed.Comment

He rejected it because it wasn’t financially viable, it still isn’t.Comment
