I'm sure Joe is aware that he has a great hand should Canelo come knocking at 175 as he's the weakest champ there. Could be a case of Joe downplaying the opportunity to inflate the worth of his bargaining chip....

Fighters want their names to be known after they're retired or dead. That's why they talk about "legacy" or "making history". It's simple human nature.
