James Toney Batters Matthew Greer in Two Rounds

Toney is a racist punk, he always talks **** about the Klitschkos, but he dosen't have the balls to get in the ring with them because he knows he would get destroyed by either Klitschko.
Check out the article I posted on page 2.

If Toney would have kept in shape like this a few years ago he likely would have been champ and probably wouldn't have lost to Peter in that rematch. I think it might be too little too late at this point in his career.Comment

It's a shame how few Klitschko fans are boxing fans. Most of them (or the ones who post on boxingscene, at least) support their two heroes but know absolutely nothing about boxing in general, never analyse fights (unless you call "Wlad by KO" an analysis), and are eaten up by hate for many of the boxers they don't support. They also simply can't cope with trash talking, which is and always has been part of boxing. And they bring race into every discussion. He didn't even deserve the win the first time. Lmao at him ruining Toney, no it wasn't the 70+ fights he'd had before that, the greats he'd fought across 5 weight divisions that contributed to his decline, it was Sam Peter, sam peter ruined him
It would prove nothing if a Klitschko beat up Toney right now, only that they are capable of beating a 41 year old, 5''9, 83 fight veteran who made his debut at 157 lbs
but i can tell you this, Toney sure as hell wouldn't quit like Sam Peter, nor would he get hit as easily.
The best poster by far that I have seen who is a Klitschko fan is ~Alar~ - he really knows his boxing, and doesn't hate anyone. But I can't think of anyone else who even compares with him in terms of quality posting.
Tunney sometime posts good analyses but spoils it by writing a lot if mindless hate posts.Last edited by Dave Rado; 09-12-2009, 09:51 PM.Comment

I agree, great post.Greer is a journeyman. James needed ring time against a softy where he could just get things going, get his rhythm, feel good at the lower weight etc
I'm not going to be an idiot and say James will become undisputed champ now that he seems to have gotten his weight in check, but it looks like he wants to make one more run before he retires, and a tough, slick crafty guy like James is always going to have a chance in there. He is way past his best, but the way i see it, he's already great, anything he does from here, can only make him better, if he loses a few more times, so what, if he manages to get into contention again, only makes him greater.Comment
