Wouldn't Ortiz have the advantage over those two since they are both orthodox fighters? Coming from a south paw stance he would neutralize both of their jabs. Unless, they both have equalizing right hands like Deontay Wilder does then those fights could get very interesting. I am not making a prediction but those fights would be intriguing.

I wont disagree they will be interesting at all. I just think Ruiz has fast hands and a good chin so accumulated punches wins him the fight by stoppage and Hrgovic has a great chin and solid fundamentals so he lands the fight winning punch. Its nothing against Ortiz he has just gotten too old in the ring against the younger crowd.

That was a part of the play between two big interestgroups, Ortiz never feared Joshua.

But Hearn clearly tried to avoide him, he made for him a "non-television" (!) match against David Allen in 2016 when Ortiz was in his prime.

No it isn't - "Ortiz had until 20 October to request a 'B' sample. The WBA waited on this date before they would decide to take any action. On 20 October, the WBA suspended Ortiz. Ortiz and his handlers were notified that he would serve at least a six-month suspension, his mandatory status removed and would be removed from the rankings effective immediately.

On 2 November the WBA officially handed Ortiz a one-year suspension, immediately removing him from their rankings and making him ineligible to fight for any WBA title for that period. Mendoza stated that Ortiz never asked for a 'B' sample to be tested accordingly, instead doing so verbally. WBA president Gilberto Mendoza later stated that the longevity of the ban was also due to Ortiz being a repeat offender, having previously failed a test in 2014 for anabolic steroids."

The WBC on the other just fined him $25k and didn't ban him or remove him from the rankings hence why he went down that route instead...

Martin knocked Ortiz down with a jab. Dude got lucky that Martin can't handle any semblance of pressure and won the fight, but any other ~top20 HW will destroy him at this stage.
