Serious question. If Teofimo Lopez wasn't undisputed, how is Kambosis?

Franchise and super belts need to go... George is the "super" champion and Haney the "regular" champion. I would consider Kambosos the undisputed champ only because Teo beat Loma who never lost his title, he was just elevated to "super or franchise" champ by the crooked WBC.

in the end the WBC just wants more $$ from fees so they'll continue the franchise nonsense i'm sure with Canelo at 168 next then heavyweight with Fury

Are you new to the world wide web? All the organisations have these things called websites...

      https://www.ibf-usba-boxing.com/inde...?view=rankings

All list Haney as the WBC champion. If the universally recognised WBC champion (Haney) disputes Kambosos' claim, if the WBA, IBF and WBO dispute Kambosos' claim, and if the overwhelming majority of the boxing world dispute Kambosos' claim...how can Kambosos be the undisputed champion? Do you even know what the word "undisputed" means?

The WBC can dictate who they regard as their "primary champion" all they like, but the WBC cannotdictate the definition of undisputed. Neither can WBC/López fangirls.

This is essentially the same situation boxing was in before the WBO achieved full recognition with the WBA, WBC and IBF; until the WBO gained such recognition, it was excluded from any talks of undisputed. Until the other organisations recognise the WBC Franchise champion, it will rightly be excluded from such talks.

But even if they didn't, it wouldn't matter. Being undisputed champion means there isn't a dispute between who the orgs recognize as champion. All four orgs recognize Kambosos. Therefore, he's undisputed. It doesn't matter if the IBF says he isn't WBC champion, it matters if the WBC says he's WBC champion.
What the actual ****? So...which one is it?

        1. An undisputed champion has to hold all four mutually recognised world titles

        2. An undisputed champion can hold any "world title" from each of the four organisations without being mutually recognised, as long as the WBC says they're undisputed?

That's not what I said. I said the other orgs do recognize the franchise world title. They list Estrade, who is franchise world champion. They also allow their titles to be unified with the franchise world title, as evidenced by Lomachenko and Teofimo.

Are you new to reading? All of those websites list Juan Estrada, who is franchise world champion.

The problem is that you don't understand what undisputed champion means. Undisputed champion means you're the champion of every recognized organization. Every recognized organization says Kambosos is their champion. It doesn't matter if a secondary champion like Haney or Tank disputes it. It doesn't matter if all of the writers on DAZN's payroll dispute it. The WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO are not in dispute over who the champion is. They all say Kambosos.

And even if the WBO says he isn't the WBC champion, that doesn't matter. What matters is that the WBC says he's WBC champion.

No, an undisputed champion must hold the highest title in the division of every recognized organization.

Dude literally told me this dispute comes down to the IBF, WBO, and WBA "not putting much thought or effort" into their rankings and official acknowledgements.

I got work to do, but, I am going to call them and ask them how they feel about that.

Come on man we both know that's complete bs Black/brown people have been undisputed before... i hate when people just jump on racism all the damn time diminishes the word to a joke. Only a few selective boxing fans are racist but to claim boxing itself is racist is both hiliarious and ******.
