Ortiz hadn’t lost in 4 years ,it’s ironic how posters pick and choose when a fighter is worthy and not . When Wilder loses again that’ll be the excuse to use around here except he actually got hurt bad so it’s correct . I mean that’s the timely excuse when you eventually lose it’s because you lost twice already.

Lol look at the PBC highlights they don't even show Ortiz's finishing shots, just Martin all tangled up and helpless.

PBC always has a ****ty chincy 2 min highlight reel but this is really embarrassing. Half of it is pointless intro then a few KD's with more over editing and then it's suddenly over...

They haven't mention that. Im pretty sure that's why Ortiz looked so unsteady on his feet. He was clear headed but his equilibrium was not there.

Ortiz ducked into that was round one not the last round where a guy is stuck on the ropes purposely getting fouled as he’s on the ground to in that situation HELLO .

Martin should be considered better then Wilder .
But don't Wilder detractors regularly say Ortiz was a fought nobody bum/70 yr old? How can he be a bum 1 min, then a top guy the next when saying Martin almost beat him? Be consistent

Did you read? I wrote, I think his equilibrium was messed up, because of the punch on the back of his head. Nothing more. Yes, Ortiz hit him with a few, but he gave him his back, he didn't know he was tangled in the ropes. Granted he was out on his feet from the first one, he stood there looking at nothing. The ref should have stopped the fight right there.

I actually think the first fight should've been stopped and they gave Wilder like 10 minutes to recover. Wilder should've lost that fight but was protected.

He was up off of his stool before Ortiz so I think he was ready to fight. New York changed it’s rules since Mike Perez almost killed that Russian dude. So the doctor had to check Wilder out.

I'm not a Wilder fan but the dude can take some punishment and even if you get him down, he's hard to keep down. Wilder can be outboxed but I don't see Martin doing that for 13 rounds and I don't see him stopping Wilder. I do see Wilder landing and removing Martin from his senses and consciousness.
