Floyd squeaked by a lot of fights. Had a lot of close fights, and always won by decision. He even robbed a few fighters.

Ward never wowed anyone either, plus he used dirty tactics and was a major clincher who loved to fight out of his hometown. Personally, can’t think of one time I was wowed by him.

Yeah he doesn’t dominate in his big fights unlike prior p4p kings

He really doesn't dominate any of them and doesn't fight in an exciting style either like Floyd when he was pretty Boy. Just a very boring style of throwing very few punches.

          WTF?

Did you not see his fights at 168 and 175? When did Floyd ever do anything like that to anyone. All he ever did was win by decision.

Canelo has entered his prime now.

          Kovalev- Knocked out cold

Callum Smith - dominated him and ruptured his arm

Yildrim - So shook he refused to keep fighting

          Saunders- Broke his skull, literally

          Plant- blasted him out, stoppage.

He was getting outboxed by Kovalev in a very dull fight where nothing fighter threw many punches before his power bailed him out.

Callum Smith was a dominating win, but still nowhere near as excited as a Roman Gonzalez fight. Mayweather landed 290 punches against an all time great Marquez as an example, Canelo still was cautious and didn't throw much.

            Yildirm? That guy's a nobody.

Saunders and Plant, same thing, he was losing plenty of rounds, all the rounds were close, and his power and their weak chins bailed Canelo out.

Serous question have you watched many pretty boy Floyd fights? The level of domination and excitement was just beyond compare, nothing Canelo has ever done comes close at all to that.

Canelo is operating at a level few athletes in their sporting careers. His mind and body are in sync and we are in the midst of greatness

When he has stepped up in class, he has struggled to a certain degree, but that’s to be expected honestly and you can’t take off too many points for that he still wins clean decisions, most of the time.

I think he’s a smart boxer who knows what the judges look for and he’ll use that to his advantage in close bouts. Plus, his punches and combos have a certain look about them. A certain cleanness that just LOOKS GOOD. I find that his punches are just crisp and judge friendly. That’s part of how he has been able to bank rounds I think.

When has Floyd ever won against anyone in that fashion, never seen Floyd do that to anyone. I guess maybe against Hatton?

What other fight did he blast anyone else like that? I’m not talking clear decision wins here either. I’m talking about getting blasted out, cooked, ass beat and destroyed.
