Canelos resume is what separates him from the rest and puts him in with the greats like fighters with resumes like his,Tyson, Triple G, Fury, Pacman, Joshua, etc.Comment

Duran is a legend, truly great, and I doubt Canelo ever would've gotten a win over Sugar Ray Leonard, if Canelo was in that era.
Duran was so tough and could take a punch, but he was ko'd by Hearns, although I think he wasn't so well prepared for that fight.
Canelo has never been down, say what you want, he's got a helluva chin, to have taken a few bombs from Golovkin and not in danger of being knocked down.Comment

People need to stop with the overrated title grabbing. It’s more about who you beat and when you beat them. Both Sanchez and Chavez have dominant wins over hall of fame level fighters in their primes. Canelo doesn’t have 1. All of his opposition that were hall of fame quality were 35 and older when canelo faced them and none were truly dominant wins except maybe vs 40 yr old Mosley.Comment

He’s done way way more than Chavez. Sanchez is a legend though. Canelo could end up as a top 10 p4p ever talentComment

Canelo keeps winning titles in multiple divisions he will be the most decorated Mexican fighter when he’s done.
Like others have said it would be hard to be the most beloved. Boxing was a much bigger sport when Chavez Sr. and others were doing it.Comment
