Duran was more a legend than Canelo, Chavez or Salvador. Duran didn't duck anyone. He took on Leanard, Hearns and Hagler in the 80's during their prime. He was no cherry picker. Duran has to be considered one of the greatest fighters with Mexican roots.

Duran already exposed juan manuel marquez and all the hating fans that are never satisfied with his accomplishments as haters, and you see many of those people here in this website too lol they hate to see Canelo beat champion after champion just because he doesn’t fight the fighters they want. But then again those are the fruits that come with being the face of boxing. When Mayweather beat pacquiao many people wanted him to fight Golovkin and he chose to fight Andre Berto instead. Years ago everyone wanted pacquiao to fight Terrence Crawford and Pacquiao chose to fight Jessie Vargas instead.
