King Kong Ortiz vs Prince Charles Martin predictions...

I made threads about this fight wondering why it's not getting made
when both fighters didn't have any other options on the table.
Took them more than a year to say yes to the fight and it looked
like they exhausted all other options it's the last resort for both.

And now it's here. What are your predictions?

Does this fight really need predictions? Ortiz might be 60 but it’s Charles Martin..

I’m going Ortiz 4th round stoppage.

What I want to happen is a far better fight late round stoppage for Martin but I don’t like the odds the fight shifting that way . Ortiz only boxing one round in over a year may help him though ?

I've rooted for Martin ever since he announced he stomps this earth like a god.

At one time all these PBC heavies were available for each other, except Wilder.
Breazeale, Kownacki, Ruiz, Martin, Ortiz, Arreola, Joyce (no longer with PBC.)
Ruiz took on Arreola, promised to fight Ortiz next, but that fight no longer registers
on his radar screen... Why is this happening, even when they're on the same PBC house?

I don't think it's totally a low reward, high risk kind of fight when here we had Wilder's career
accelerated beyond belief just by beating Ortiz.

Martin will definitely win if he comes in with his purple robe and Prince top hat ,if he trollops on a horse to ringside with his servants behind him, Ortiz doesn’t have a prayer .

Anything can happen in boxing, especially in this punching bag division.

Either Martin is too weak for Ortiz or Luis is too strong for Charles.
Any opinion on Ortiz turning down the Joshua fight?
He could have been in Ruiz situation, won the fight and got a rematch,
possibly winning both fights. Could be swimming in $$$ today thinking of retiring.
(But I don't want to resurrect the subject. Thread is not about that.)

I expect a good action. Martin had a really bad night against Joshua, he is not such a bum.

Honestly I think the bright lights and big stage froze him that night. He was going to lose regardless but he was a deer in the headlights walking into the ring.

I think Martin's biggest issue is confidence. He's a big, awkward southpaw who can crack. Not saying he's a world beater but he's not terrible either.

Ortiz is more skilled but he's north of 50 years old with high blood pressure and lots of inactivity. He has displayed a bad habit of gassing after the first half of a fight.

I will predict Ortiz wins the first 4 rounds and possibly even hurts or drops Martin. Soon after however, Ortiz gasses, fades and gets stopped by the Prince in the mid rounds.

I like your prediction. I also feel Martin wins this one. Ortiz is more skilled southpaw, but an old one and he will most likely gas out.
