Sometimes with a 'project' they hype gets ahead of the fighter, or the fighter looks great and seems further along than he really is. That's where we are now with Benn. So the matchmaker is in a difficult phase - they need to keep the hype going but not put the fighter at too much risk of a loss. 60-40 odds in the 'project's' favour are the most they want to contemplate and even that is more risk than they are really comfortable with.

Broner probably fits into that 60-40 range. Broner is a 40 to Benn's 60. Avanesyan on the other hand is a 60 to Benn's 40. Screw that for a game of soldiers (see what I did there?). So no way Benn is fighting Avanesyan and heaven forbid Vergil or Ennis. If he gets and beats Broner look for fights with one of the Garcia's and maybe Thurman if he looks faded against Barrios.
Spot on. Better said than my attempt at it.

First of all, if Ugas had not fought Spence, he was fighting Stanionis! Secondly, how do you go from wanting a title shot, to wanting Adrien Broner? Lastly, if Hearn doesn't think he's ready for Avanesyan, does he really feel he's ready for Ugas? Yeleussinov or Ellis! Choose one! MAN UP!

Is Broner retired? Why the hell call out a journeyman who isn’t even active. I like this Ben kid but that’s a laughable goal. You know they’re offering AB a huge bag, hope he somehow shows up and makes this a cherry-pick gone wrong.

I’d give him a punchers chance . I can imagine most of the champs should lap up a Connor Benn fight.

Those days they were grateful for a fight on Tv let alone real world title.

I hate boxing politics, but not sure how Benn is ducking the fight, when the politics involved mean Avanesyan has stopped any chance of it happening himself.

Good story for the haters though.

Apparently, Avanesyan also turned down a title eliminator. Its all a bit strange at least when he looked like he was with Sky you thought he might get some TV money.

Signing with Frank was the death nell to a Benn fight and anyway if Benn beat Avenesyan they'd give him zero credit.

It’s funny how About Billions is being treated like a club fighter with a name, 1st Prograis was begging to fight Broner now Benn, only because they know with AB lifestyle and not truly focused on trying to win anymore that it’s a good name because he was or is a 3 division champion no matter what you say about him. AB about whatever dollars he can get at this point! I tell you these fools will learn legal fees, payouts and foolishness will have you in financial deficits when it’s all said and done and you’ll find yourself having to work a 9 to 5, and I can name many fighters who made millions are actually broke as a joke.

Aww, its sweet he called out the guy who is already booked to fight someone else. Not that Benn's handlers will let him near anyone relevant just yet, or perhaps ever.
But Broner is there for you Connor, he might not train, or make weight, but he will be there for you. Lord knows with 7 kids to 6 baby mommas, he needs the child support money...
