Okay gents so here it is. 2021 ain't even wrapped up yet and we're already rolling on with the 2022 season. Coupla changes to be aware of that have already been mentioned elsewhere but in case you missed em:
Points thresholds have been changed on Decison picks for 2022
CLOSE: Below 8 points difference on the cards
CLEAR 9 -17
WIDE: 18 POINTS or above
Also the standard odds reference has been switched from oddschecker.com to proboxingodds.com.
Sir Koba, I just want to clarify the points difference for CLOSE DECISION pick. I think it's 8 points or below. Just to make things clearer.
I see alot of Ortiz picks so let's start the new year off with an upset:
PBR Streetgang: Martin, KO, Mid
(I see Ortiz winning early rounds and hurting possibly even dropping Martin but punching himself out and getting sparked quickly and suddenly).

I'm not picking Martin here, but sure as hell I'll lay some money down on him winning between 7th and 11th. The odds are too tempting to resist, in spite of the logic...

Yes. That would indeed be the case... my mistake. Except I've been looking at the numbers again and I think on balance we need to make it 9 and below for CLOSE, 10 -18 for CLEAR and 19 and above for WIDE
I've not done a full breakdown by actual precise scores on all the decisons we had in 2021 but on trend that should give us a pretty even split between the 3 different types of DEC.. at least I hope so!
Okay gents, just a heads up, having looked at the numbers again I've decided to modify the split on DECISION picks just a little more, so for 2022 the split will now officially be:
CLOSE 9 points or fewer on the cards
CLEAR 10 - 18 points on the cards
WIDE 19 points or more on the cards.
Apologies for any confusion caused and I'll get the OP adjusted now to reflect the new rules. Obviously if anyone wants to change their picks accordingly please feel free.
Well it's either the bookies want to show their big hearts by giving a New Years day gift to all the gamblers out there who make sure it's a growth industry or your slightly drunk pal Citizen K might have made a small but significant typo... I'd go with option B.
