Who is this tougher competition your talking about? Gvozdyk? Danny Jacobs is a better name to have on your resume than Gvozdyk. And GGG is a way better all around fighter than Beterbiev. Casual stop it.

Correct but it was canelo that made them all behave as they did. Noone else had before that.

Point is though, it's justifiable to say that they just showed up if 50% of them quit on their stools.

That being said, I had Plant ahead on the scorecards at the time of the stoppage, so I don't think unifying was as easy for him as some have said, but it was probably the weakest division above 126

Biggest misconception I keep seeing is that Beterbiev has little boxing skill and gets hit easily. The guy has an almost 300-5 amateur record ffs, bashed up Usyk, KO'd Kovalev and in the pro ranks beat down The Nail Gvodyk, who had world class boxing skills. Gvodyk is 6'2 and massively longer in reach than Canelo, yet he only managed to clearly tag Beterbiev a few times in 10 rounds.

Well said mate. This guy is a bridge too far for Canelo. I have huge respect for Canelo, but I am not a fan of any fighter, just being real. Beterbiev won't take a backward step and so it becomes a trade off, and AB has better artillery. Again, huge respect for Canelo, but he wont take this guy on, because he knows he's beat.

The DJ that fought GGG is a better fighter than both Gvozdyk and Browne. GGG is a wayyyyyy better fighter than both those guys put together. And I’m not a fan. And who is “the man” who beat “the man” your talking about? You’re not talking about A. Stevenson are you? The guy who spent his whole champion stint ducking Kovalev and fighting averaged fighters. Just look at his record and who he beat Had he not ducked Kovalev Gvozdyk would have beaten just another opponent. Who has Beterbiev beat besides a good Champion in Gvozdyk? No one. Canelo would never take this fight unless he saw a loophole and beterbiev has already made it clear he's not there for "payday, pay day, you want payday!" The thing canelo thinks everybody wanys when they fight him.. reality is that they're going to get paid no matter what fight they take. Just goes to show where canelo mind is at and why I think he will definitely avoid fighters like beterbiev or dangerous fighter aligned with the belts hes hunting for. Canelo the weak belt hunter but he will not do any title defenses or mandatories. Hell canelo has two mandatories in David Benavidez and some other guy and you believe canelo will choose the guy that's not much of a threat over David. Canelo is an annoying fighter for not actually testing himself.
