Anyone else losing intrest in boxing ?

Bunch of soft prima donnas who dont want to fight the best.

Theyve taken the approach to milk fights for money and milking big fights until the public loses intrest

There are so many fights we want to see but will never see or you have to wait 4 years until one of them has a loss

Ufc is dominating boxing in this stand point. In ufc the best fight the best.

Somewhat. It's annoying that promoters, networks and even the fighters themselves are preventing the best fights from happening. Seems like this is more of a problem now than it ever was

Definitely feel the same way with the current state of the sport.

Hopefully emporer Kambosos changes the narrative and fights Haney, Loma or Tank next. Even then what happens next? I don't still don't see the rest of them fighting each other in the meantime or even afterwards.

Nah. We've just had a pretty damn strong few months imo - Canelo/Plant, AJ/Usyk, Fury/Wilder 3, Crawford/Porter mixed in with fights from Loma, Lopez, Tank etc. Granted before the final few months 2021 hadnt been great.

I actually think we are in a golden era of boxing. So many undisputed champions crowned in the past 6 years. A slew of HoF ATG level fighters from Canelo to Ward to phenoms like Loma. The Eastern European invasion Kova, GGG, Beter, Usyk, the 3 headed HW hydra Wilder, Joshua, Fury. The ATG making Lightweight Division with Haney, Davis, Loma, Garcia, Lopez.... We are in the best time of Boxing since the 90s. There is excitement in from the lightest to the heaviest weights. Many fans wont appreciate until we are well beyond this moment.

Best times since the 90s is hardly a golden era bud. We may be a bit harsh but you're being awful kind too.

No, social media just makes all that non-sense more visible, but also puts on more pressure to make popular fights. Im pretty sure that there are a lot more unification fights than around 10 years ago.

Nope. The fighters and the fights always keep me interested, and there's always a new generation of talent coming through that I hope can turn into something special.

The promoter and network rivalries, along with the sanctioning body bullcrap, does get incredibly frustrating though.
