I think my interest in boxing probably peaked around Mayweather/Hatton. That’s when I found this site and the lead up to that one was a lot of fun.
After that it’s been a lot of fights not happening because of networks and promoters protecting guys etc…
I still enjoy a good fight and the hype of fight week but it’s not as high on my list of sports I follow anymore.

There are so many fights we want to see but will never see or you have to wait 4 years until one of them has a loss

Ufc is dominating boxing in this stand point. In ufc the best fight the best.
      Yes, about 10 years ago.

Yeah. I'm not sure whether the BS (fights not getting made, etc) is getting worse or it just seems that way because UFC is a big deal now and it highlights how things should be done. It functions the way we all want boxing to function: the best fight the best consistently and rankings actually mean something, which as a fan is all that really matters (or should at least).

You watch a whole UFC card full of competitive match-ups top to bottom... then you watch a boxing card with about three worthless undercard bouts featuring the promoter's latest unbeaten prospects versus overmatched opposition who stand no chance, followed by the main event in which you're 90% the A-side is gonna win, which he does, and you're then promised this is all building towards a "big showdown" further down the line with another A-side, which either never happens or does so when people have long passed caring. Rinse and repeat.

Nothing will ever replace boxing for me as my favourite sport, but I find myself watching as much MMA - if not more - these days despite only being a casual fan. It's sad really because boxing could be great right now. We have the fighters, we just don't have the fights.

No, Nash is a true fan. Take that UFC loving elsewhere. I'd rather watch two clowns fight in a pub. Nash out.

Hell nah, I’m a Canelo fan (among others) and this dude is putting in major work. So I’m good.

There a lot of primodonnas for sure, but I don’t *** with them.

It's not that we haven't had decent fights it's the fact they're picking and choosing names that suit them like fury

Still so jealous of Fury, I see, Mike? I still remember that Pac photo you had as your avatar, then the day after he lost to Ugas you dropped your man's pic. Pacquaio came to me in a dream last night and said "Stuntman Mike is a disloyal fan." You have disappointed your hero. Instead of talking about Fury, make it up to Pacman. Nash out.

UFC fans are delusional. Dana White calls two fighters the best and you people eat that **** up like candy. Ronda Rousey and Conner McGregor were once "the best". We aint seeing the best fight the best. Is Dana making deals with other MMA feds? I think the problem is boxing fans are whiny haters. You'll call a guy overhyped and overrated on one hand then on the other hand whine about how he has no urgency to prove himself to his haters. It's funny how Teo beat the boxing boogeyman and some people still refused to give him credit. Minimal money and little credit, that's what's fighting "the best" gets you in boxing.
