15 years ago when UFC fans were ****ting on boxing, who would have thought this would happen.

15 years ago random UFC fighters werent gonna be getting paid millions to just walk into boxing PPV main events and fight internet celebrities in some of the biggest "boxing" matches of the year either, because boxing was much bigger than MMA back then and didnt need to stoop to that level for mainstream attention.

How about the great Jake Paul taking on Anderson Silva who is a somewhat accomplished boxer? They are the same size and have about the same amount of rounds, so I think that is a good challenge. Calling out active fighters in the UFC is akin to asking Jlo for a date......That **** just ain't happening and is pure hyperbole.

Yeah Nate can box. I heard he was a sparring partner for ward, idk how true that is though.

But he seems a fair bit smaller than Jake and he’s not exactly slick. He soaked up a lot of punches from McGregor.

Dana White feels guys going over and losing to Jake Paul Tanishes the UFC Brand and he is probably not wrong honestly. Nate Diaz he will probably release or allow because Nate is at the end of his career but not someone in their Prime and is one of the faces of UFC like Usman

The kid just seems to have some weird obsessive issue with MMA, or more specifically the UFC and Dana. Its like he'd wants to be involved with MMA really, but the UFC isnt going to roll out the red carpet for him and he wouldnt be able to beat MMA fighters at their own game. So his compromise is boxing MMA fighters, so he can be competitive or win, and get bragging rights over "beating" guys who would otherwise kick his ass if they werent literally contractually obligated to not fight at their full ability against him. There are a lot of boxing fans who just feel they need to be anti-MMA by default, so they go along with this ridiculous shyt regardless, but if some ****ing Jonas brother trained jiu jitsu for a few years and then started tapping out smaller 40 year old boxers in MMA fights they would be ****ing livid, and rightfully so.

Jake Paul is just doing what Floyd did and what Canelo is now doing. Picking the right opponents at the right time for maximum reward while minimizing risk. For him that means MMA fighters because of his experience and skill level.
