He needs to beat down Vitor Belfort, the guy that humiliated the senior citizen Evander Holyfield. This would endure him to many boxing fans. Isreal Adesanya is the 185lb champ, 42 year old Glover Texeria is 205 champ, Paul has said nothing about any of these guys. They are his size, and would easily KO him. He will keep picking on little wrestlers if he knows what good for him. Idk we shall see.

He was set for life long before Floyd. He was already a millionaire many times over.Clever guy Jake, not entering the cage. Ask them to box, when he knows the mma guys are terrible boxers.
Gotta respect the hustle, as he's found some market for this stuff.
What is even more impressive and almost unbelievable is how Logan got that big money exhibition with Floyd, and then set for life with that money I guess.Comment

Why fight a boxer in his prime? We can’t even get actual boxers fighting each other in their prime. This is what is the mockery and pathetic of boxing today.Comment

He's making the UFC look so bad.Props to Jake Paul crapping all over these UFC clowns, UFC fighter or not the man is fighting on a gigantic stage in sold-out arenas on Pay-per-view. Why not polish up your boxing skills against well-known named MMA fighters. Jake is just learning how to deal with the Bright lights at this stage

He’s saying UFC fighters make “low quality” boxers, which so far Jake Paul is proving to be true.
Dana White has sh#tted on boxing numerous times in the past. He has claimed how great his company is compared to boxing, how UFC fights are more entertaining than boxing, that boxing is a dying sport, that boxing is less popular than UFC, how his fighters are more advanced than boxers, yet these former UFC fighters are gladly getting into a boxing ring, going up against some YouTuber for the paycheck they couldn’t get under strict UFC rules, and they’re getting embarrassed. Not only that, but this sh#t is selling out and making headlines. In a boxing ring under boxing rules. Not MMA. Not UFC.
I mean make no mistake about it, these UFC guys would destroy Jake Paul under UFC rules. But a lot of the UFC community, at least, guys who I’ve come across, sh#t on boxing all the time. Well, not sh#t on it, but they don’t have the proper respect for boxing because they think it’s lesser than compared to UFC. Well, maybe the whole novice Jake Paul beating up UFC fighters in a boxing ring is changing peoples minds a little. Might even be bringing over a whole new fan base.Last edited by b Murphington; 12-23-2021, 02:48 PM.Comment

Adesanya and Texeira are current world champions no way Dana would let them fight while they are still making money for him so those fights are not possible. I saw recently he was targeting Anderson Silva or JCC Jr that would be a good step up Silva has fought has high as 205 before so it would be on equal terms size wise which is something Jake has yet to face someone his own size.He needs to beat down Vitor Belfort, the guy that humiliated the senior citizen Evander Holyfield. This would endure him to many boxing fans. Isreal Adesanya is the 185lb champ, 42 year old Glover Texeria is 205 champ, Paul has said nothing about any of these guys. Some of these comments are hilarious though asking him to fight Usyk or Wlad lmao get the hell out of here man which one of your favorite boxers who didn't have an extensive amateur career is taking on those caliber of opponents in their first 6 fights? Just be real with yourself, believe me I want to see Paul get knocked out as well but just be honest. He's a novice in the sport and you all are already shooting for the top quality opponents when you know damn well not even a boxer who has been boxing for 10 years as an amateur would transition into the pros and automatically fight champions or former champions that **** only happens with elite level amateurs who stayed in the system way longer than they should have. He's increasing his opponents little by little which I guess is ok but he does need to fight someone who fought at 185 and up if he continues to fight MMA guys if not he's not proving anything.

15 years ago when UFC fans were ****ting on boxing, who would have thought this would happen.
At first I didn't like what I was seeing, but I'd be lying if I said I was left with a certain smugness. Seeing a novice boxer make short work of former UFC champs desperate to make money after becoming legends in a sport where "the best fight the best".Last edited by FeFist; 12-23-2021, 03:40 PM.Comment

I dont think these Jake fights are really an accurate representation of the standard of boxing in MMA, hes strategically picking opponents based on age/size/style/how washed they are. Theres been plenty of other MMA guys crossing over vs actual long term career boxers and not looking as bad as Askren and Woodley did against the Youtuber.
What does it matter though really? they're not boxers, they're MMA fighters. The best gauge of how good or bad they are at their craft comes from fighting them in MMA, not restricting them from using the majority of their skills.Comment
