"Fury is planning to fight by March of next year - with or without Whyte."

It's a mandated fight so if it's without Whyte it'll be without WBC title as well

Usyk outboxes Fury. Leaning on Usyk will not work, Ursk is too smart for that and will EITHER angle away with his fast feet if Fury will attempt this whilst throwing a straight left to the stomach all night OR smartly cover up like a troyan horse and let Fury tire and exchange shots with him punch for punch knowing that as the rounds go by the gastank of Fury will deflate (Fury has no knockout power on the inside since he cannot get that much leverage on the inside with his long limbs). Usyk tempo is much higher and has many gears. Fury might have some success in the early rounds, but the tempo that is required to put the heat on Usyk will not be sustainable and his gastank will empty fast. Remember that this is not sparring where Fury claims to go on for 30 rounds, this is a real fight with punches being thrown with real intentions. This means Usyk will take over in the later rounds and will be hammering in those left hands which will be bothersome to Fury, and cruise to a UD.

Not saying Usyk is the GOAT but I do not see Fury outboxing him due to Usyk slickness and fast feet. Fury is looking old and slow as well, I'd pick a 2015 Fury over this Usyk but that Fury is long gone.

I very much doubt he’s going to fight without Whyte..who’s going to fight Fury without the WBC belt on the line, in a fight significant enough for Top Rank to willingly cover Tyson’s guarantee? Joe Joyce certainly won’t..he’d petition the WBC to fight Whyte for the vacant belt, instead of fighting Fury with nothing on the line and a near certain probability of getting beaten.

It’s all bluster from Fury - he’ll fall in line and end up giving Whyte what he wants, before going onto the Usyk/AJ rematch winner. He has no other viable option.

I agree this is a likely scenario, but by no means certain. I think people are overestimating Fury’s stamina when in reality he has a very low punch output and uses his size and awkwardness to control the pace of the fight (i.e. extensive use of feints and leaning/grappling). Against Usyk, who has a far superior punch output and much greater stamina than Klitschko and Wilder combined, along with faster feet, Fury will be forced to work much harder than he has done before.

I also saw a more sluggish and defensively susceptible Fury in the third fight, most likely because the trappings of Vegas got to him. We all know that Fury doesn’t live the life of a consummate professional, so who knows what version would indeed show up against Usyk. I’m hoping the best so we can have a truly great fight, assuming they firstly get past their next respective bouts.

If Usyk was some really elusive fighter, I’d say he stands a better chance. In fact, his defence isn’t great, he gets tagged a fair bit and his style is based on pressure with the feet and moving off to an angle

That’ll work v a big stiff timid bodybuilder like AJ who will feel that pressure and hasn’t got the ring IQ to negate angles.

Fury is a master of distance control. He could either keep Usyk at such a distance with that reach that Usyk’s use of angles are of no use, they only work at a certain distance. Then if Usyk wants to get close, Fury will just wrap him up, ragdoll him and drain him, which AJ didn’t know how to do. He isn’t just going to stand at a middle distance without knowing what to do, like AJ did.

Usyk has very little chance v Fury really. Fury is too good in almost every department to let Usyk dictate things. Size does also matter when it’s two elite fighters. Fury v Usyk is an elite match up.

Usyk v AJ was an elite fighter v a solid world level fighter who is timid with no real ring savvy. There’s a difference.

Im an Usyk fan too, he and Fury are probably my two favourite fighters around now, but there’s only one winner.

I hope this fight happens if both guys win their next fights first, obviously. I can see either guy winning, and it would be a tough fight for both, with neither fighter having a distinct advantage over the other, in my opinion. Fury has the size, and though he has great footwork and boxing skills for a fighter of his size, I think that Usyk's footwork and boxing skills are superior, and I believe that strategy and physical conditioning will be important aspects of each fighters' game plan for the fight. Based on that criteria I think that Usyk will outbox, and out work Fury and win by unanimous decision, in a tactical fight that's more reminiscent to a welterweight fight than a heavyweight matchup. But, Fury has tremendous heart to go with his huge body, so he's always a live dog in any fight, and even if I believe that he will be outboxed, and essentially outclassed, he won't just lie down, and has a tremendous will to win, that he shouldn't be counted out. I really hope it happens, it would be a great fight!

I heard this before and it was completely crap. Wonder why rhetoric proven wrong is being repeated?

When I told you that Fury was a good fighter whilst you were calling him a useless bum.

Deluded about what? Fury beating Usyk? lol.

Fury will be a heavy favourite.

You've constantly been wrong about Fury over the last decade so excuse me I don't take your opinion that seriously.

After Fury knocks Usyk out, who's the next guy that you'll claim will dethrone him? Hrgovic?
I like Fury and i think he's a good boxer , i don't like that he's using ******* again though , he disappoints me in that regard , but if we were able to magically shrink Fury to Usyk's size then i would pick Usyk over Fury because is a better boxer then Tyson is , but that's just my opinion.

The Usyk we saw against Joshua beats the Fury we saw against Wilder in their 3rd fight.
