Of course Floyd has the weight advantage nobody is saying otherwise , the point is its only small 4-6 pounds , and that is the same advantage Pac had over JMM and the same Diaz and Casa had , 2-7lbs is a fair fight for this size of man and weight is not a big issue , over 7 pounds the advantage is getting great and greater the higher it gets , thats why the divisions above the little men LW are in 7 lb increments right up to LH , the divisions were modified based around a fair fight , in essence the weights and differences between divisions are not by accident .

Pac fought JMM at 126 which JMM is a natural, the rematch was at 130 a weight JMM could carry, Diaz and Casa fought JMM 135 a weight that look JMM was pushing to the limit, so now at 144 is not a big issue? I would ask again how well do you think he can carry 144? Now well do you think PBF could carry 144? And, do you think Mayweather can still make 140?

I loved the interview with Brian Kenny on ESPN when Kenny said well your fighting a lighter man who has never been up in weight, doesnt it make a difference and Mayweather kept dogding the question saying no it doesnt make a difference I'm the best in the world! Everybody who's been on here for a while (even the haters) know Floyd weighed 150 at the official weigh in and was 148 on fight night. It's not news.

When you are the perceived draw in a fight you get all or most of the concessions; hence that is the reason FMJ can have the fight at 144. Put yourself in his position. Why fight @ 140 when you know you will have more of an advantage at 144? I went through all of your post and you never mentioned once about PAC getting all the advantages over Cotto (including weight). Please come with something better than PAC has fought @ WW before because in reality him and Roach knew DLH couldn't make 147 and be effective. But yet you knock Floyd for doing what's best for him.

But, here is a question why are Floyd fans, Floyd himself, and Floyd's team so obsessed with Pac? Every interview, every Floyd thread, every Floyd discussion. Pac name is mention but I never hear a direct challenge and I don't get why? If I was so sure about my legacy and my greatness I would careless about what any other fighter is doing. I guess Floyd and his team and his fans have some doubt about how truly great Floyd really is.

Anyways I will answer your question. I think Cotto got the advantage in weight. Cotto if I'm not mistaken has fought 4 fights at 146 including his last one against Clottey. When I first heard the fight being discussed is at 142-144 which I thought was a huge disadvantage against Cotto. But, 145 I think is a fair fight. However, I would rather this fight be at 147.

Sorry if I offended you by knocking on your boy. But, that is how I feel. I really do believe that Pac-Cotto fighting at 145 is more fair than Mayweather-Marquez at 144. And, whoever thinks otherwise is not being objective.

The difference in Marquez and Mayweather:

Marquez gets his energy from within , from his faith, those close to him and this inner strength that few possess called gameness. He don't brag, game fighters very seldom are braggarts in a mean way like Mayweather is. Mayweather is hoping to scare JMM , hopes his big bad mouth will frighten him to mess him up, smiles, but you can't intimidate a game dog !!!!!!
