I think he is right. Think about it, some fans think this is mismatch, some fans think this is Mayweather/Gatti, some fans don't give JMM any chance or can't see how he can win, and some fans think Marquez is really good while Mayweather is great (all time great at that). Mayweather is coming back to claim his P4P throne. So he needs to dominate and KO JMM. The pressure is on Mayweather to look good. Nobody is really expecting JMM to win.

I don't take de la Hoya's opinions seriously. This is why.

A win is a win, by KO or by Decision! ODLH knows that JMM way to win will be by decision but he knows at the same time that this is a very slim chance considering PBF technical skills in counter-punching, and he is remarkably better than JMM on this field. So ODLH chided PBF to come up by KO for an impressive win so that he would become aggressive for KO and JMM would left as the one solely fighting as counter-puncher. In this scenario in ODLH mind, would be the same as Pac-JMM to where it was Pac was the aggressive and JMM was the counter-puncher, and since he believes that JMM won both fights with Pac, JMM would have also the edge of fighting PBF if PBF becomes the aggressive one.

Well, PBF is a wise guy, he would toy JMM smartly in what he knows his advantage game, by KO or by decision and he would just shrugged what ODLH said!

i think floyd needs to stop jmm in the early rds cause he can adjust very well in the mid to late rds. or, floyd could attack in the early rds then backpedal or change his gameplan in the mid to late rds to confuse and take jmm out of his rhytmn

Oscar's main concern is whatever will hype up the ticket and PPV sales. Promoters in this situation should never be taken seriously.
