Why Hasn’t McGregor Boxed Jake Paul

McGregor got knocked out by a retired welterweight. Why on earth would he fight an active cruiserweight? I realize Paul is a novice, but Paul is way too big for McGregor.

McGregor is supremely rich and is fighting for passion/legacy more than money at this point.

Jake Paul is not an attractive fight because

1) fighting him would be kind of embarrassing
2) he's MUCH bigger than McGregor and if he was somehow able to get the decision it would be extremely humiliating.

Just not an attractive fight to make.

What I would like to see is Jake Paul-Chael Sonnen. Sonnen was the greatest trash talker in the history of the sport until McGregor came along. He's also naturally Jake Paul's size, but old as ****. A Paul-Sonnon would do 2mil buys EASILY.

woodley and funky benn were both retired/former UFC fighters not under contract.

when mcgreggor fought mayweather it was a giant ordeal to get dana white to approve and co promote it

Since you're on a boxing site, you should know by now that people cut weight to fight on a certain weight, and if you knew anything about MMA, you'd know Conor cuts alot of weight to make 145 and not 140, and weighed 20 lbs heavier than Floyd during their fight.

And Paul holds alot of fat compared to Conor so if he was as shredded as conor he'd weigh much less than 190.

You want him to fight someone 30 lbs heavier? How is that someone his size?
besides if Paul cut weight he'd make 175, and 168 if he wants to take it to the extreme.
