Because if your not willing to make real fights with the rest of the boxing world, then your limited to what you can offer. And if the fool's keep paying for it, they'll keep selling it.

          Barrios is the sacrificial can.

So yeah notice they already announced 2 PPV to start 2022 (Ortiz vs Martin and Thurman vs Barrios) and that does not include Spence vs Ugas in March so that makes 3 to start 2022 with more to come. I don't agree with it at all but you are at the mercy of these Networks a bit when you work with them and I think FOX Corp./FOX Sports have like 3-4 years of Options still with PBC so despite all the talk that PBC Deal is up in 2022 they will likely continue to show some boxing events and do some Boxing PPV Events still. We shall see how it plays out but what looks like a FLOP to us is not always a Flop to these Networks because it is the Traffic the want to their APP which gets them Ad Deals for Millions from Big Corporations
And everyone keeps claiming boxing is dying and UFC is taking over.... Well UFC just lost 13% of it's value, and boxing keeps doing what it has been doing for 120+ years. I'm still waiting for the UFC takeover everyone is been claiming was going to happen since the mid 2000s.... These PPVs while not dynamic, bring in money, and that's the bottom line.

How is this fight PPV? Typical PBC BS.

What do ads have anything to do with PPV being profitable?
Where does that say in your link?

Networks rarely make money off of PPVs in boxing.
Most of it goes to greedy fighters.

                  Like Showtime Espinoza said:

“The reality is that pay-per-view is a tool to help fights happen that wouldn’t otherwise happen..."

PBC doesn't care about fans. They want money for garbage fights. Got a part timer vs a guy more concerned with his hair than winning a fight. Embarrassing.

I'm intrigued by a Thurman comeback but come on... PPV. (Barrios?)

Running out of Mexicans over at the PBC.
