what a strange stroke of "luck" if thats what you can call it for this guy. he gets battered around the ring by akhmedov and gets a gift decision which leads to a big ppv payday vs tank, and now another big ppv payday vs thurman. politics is everything. akhmedov even if he had won wouldnt have gotten any of these fights. it was almost preordained to happen for barrios. boxing definitely not a meritocracy

Won't the size of the payday be determined by the number of ppv buys? I can't see anyone doing well out of a ppv flop.
