Other than Ward, who exactly did Golovkin supposedly avoid?
    Umm

    Andrade
    Lara

You get the point, ever seen a 81kg type of person at the swimming pool ? Now look at Beterbiev, when that guy is off season with a bit more body fat he easily weighs 95kg.

Make weigh-ins the same day or have a second day official weigh-in where you can only gain so much. There are drawbacks to making huge weight cuts, but 24 hours is alot of time to mitigate those drawbacks.

Artur spent the majority of his championship having to stick to a 10lbs rehydration, and he doesn't look any bigger since he unified IMO.

I wasn't speaking to Beterbiev and I don't necessarily agree with the OP. I don't think Beterbiev is weight bully either. I think there are advantages and disadvantages to both same day and day before weigh ins.

A lot of champions would not have been champions at all if everyone fought at their walkaround weight (Beterbiev comes to mind, since he boxes like a mummy but he seems to have an extreme strength advantage which gets negated massively if fights would be on walkaround weight). Especially because one of the 4 titles makes you a 'world champion'. It is all bullshyt to hype fighters up while the boxing fans are getting robbed of money and good fights because of it.

Take for example Shawn Porter: He is always tensed up, he has this weird jiggly jittery style. Because he is not a complete ****** he knows a little bit how to box but for the most part it is just American Football with gloves on. How is he a World Champion ? Because he is oversized for 147 but drains himself to make the weight (also the reason why he is retired at 33 because at 154+ he is a non-player). How is it possible that this little T-Rex boxer has captured a title ? Weight draining.

muh muh Canelo is a quadruple undisputed bullshyte champion. -- no he just beat the stable of the Eddie Hearn bum squad.
muh muh Pacroid is an 8 time world champion -- yes because at the lower weights difference is what ? 3lbs or 4lbs ? Easy to drain that extra few pounds with some Alex Ariza supplements if needed.

GTFO it is all lies manufactured by promoters to lure you into buying a 'world title' fight.
