Except neither benn nor his handlers want any smoke from Ennis or Ortiz. They are scared to death to put him anywhere near Ennis. And all the little matchroom shills Shyte their pants at the prospect of Benn getting into the ring with either of them especially Boots

When did Ennis + Ortiz call out Benn? They’re all up and coming fighters, none of them want to fight each other right now.Comment

WBC orders Vergil Ortiz Jr vs David Avanesyan final eliminator
Just one man stands between Vergil Ortiz Jr. and his first world title shot, but he’ll have to earn it. Neil Marsh, who manages reigning European welterweight champion David Avanesyan, claims that the WBC have ordered Ortiz to face his charge in a final eliminator.
The two sit at #1 and #3, respectively, in the rankings. Mikey Garcia’s technically in second but they seem to have skipped him for obvious reasons.

Garcia is no longer #2. In the November rankings Ava climbed to #2 behind Ortiz. Ennis is #3. Ortiz's manager immediately declined the eliminator, knowing Ortiz don't need an eliminator to get a title shot. If not with the WBC, then the WBO. Avanesyan will now defend his EBU title again in February. Rumours have it that he has ducked the call by the Frenchman El Mousaoui who in a twitter publicly stated he'd be happy to challenge Ava if Weiss (mandatory), Brooks, Benn and a couple of other fighters ranked above him in the EBU list declines. However, he later posted Ava's team didn't want to face him. He is class, and has a winning chance against Ava. He got robbed against a Spanish fighter for the EBU title a few years ago, deducted two points and a KD of the Spanish not being counted. Hope the Frenchman gets his shot again now.

Khan deserves to be KTFO for how brash and highly he thought of himself when he talked like he deserved a Mayweather or Pacquiao bout back in the day. Dude just pisses me off really. IMO he was never that great to begin with anyways.Comment

I did not know that. I don't think a fighter should be able to decline a Final Eliminator and remain in the mandatory position, not unless the WBC is going to order Spence vs. Ortiz! It seems to be a trend with GBP fighters, that they decline these fights, and stay in the #1 spot! Either force the fight with the Champ, fight the eliminator, or move back down the line!
