Was Erik Morales in his prime when Manny Pacquiao stopped him twice?

We all remember the beating Erik Morales gave Pacquiao in their first fight back in 2005. He is the only fighter to have OFFICIALLY beaten Pacquiao in the last decade. (You can argue JMM unofficially beat him twice) My question is now, was Erik Morales still in his prime when they later on met twice? After their first fight, Morales went on to lose to Zahir Raheem where he looked completely shot. He then was stopped by Pacquiao twice, went on to lose to Juan Diaz, and then took a "break" from boxing. (more like retire)

Was Erik “El Terrible” Morales's first fight against Manny Pacquiao, his last prime performance?

No he was not in his prime, but so was Pacquiao. Morales met a one-dimensional Pacquiao and was only starting to develop his right in their last fight. Imagine if he met Pacquiao now......................

No he wasn't. The Pacquiao 1 fight took what ever he had left out of him, hence him loooking like **** to Raheem.

Tbh I think Pacquaio is not much different from the Pacquiao of 2007. It's just that Morales and co were ATGs. He has looked spectacular, but if he were to fight Marquez on the 14th it would look like their first 2 fights. Close fights which could be given to either man.

Yeah el terrible defiantly was out of his prime. Erik Morales last four fights were all losses. I know two of them were from Manny, and the other was from David Diaz.

Nope. Past prime, but still elite in the 2nd fight. He was gone the 3rd time.

Wasnt his prime at super bantamweight?

He fought great in his first fight against Pac, but wasnt right in the 2nd and 3rd.
                  Pac improved, Morales got worse.
