After he beat Pacquiao in their first fight, Morales went on to lose to Zahir Raheem where he looked completely shot. He then got stopped by Pacquiao twice, went on to lose to Diaz, and then took a "break". (more like retire)

Was Erik Morale's first fight against Manny Pacquiao, his last prime, gutsy performance?

Of course he bloody wasn't. What a ****** question (no offense but it just doesn't need to be asked). Never before put down, hardly ever lost in his prime, then gets beaten convincingly by Barrera in the third fight for the first time, and beaten up somewhat, then beats Manny in his last decent effort, loses to Raheem terribly, gets KO'd for the first time ever, then KO'd again in three rounds! Then gets beaten by a hack after that!

That people, is what defines complete shotness.

Morales wasn't even in his prime when he beat Pacquiao. They say every great fighter has one fight left in them and that was Morales.

What beating are you talking about? It was a 115-113 decision and Morales was on rubber legs in the last moments of R12.

Morales was probably out of his prime before the third Barrera fight.

No, he was past his prime but still dangerous in the second fight, he was shot by the third fight though.
