Conor Benn is a hype job. He beat a part time boxer.

Conor Benn will challenge for world titles. He is Eddie Hearns second favorite fighter, just behind Anthony Joshua.
Hearn is guiding and managing his career splendidly. Algeria well? I predicted that he would ether get blasted out or go the distance and maybe start to out boxed Benn.
I do remember Algeria retiring or going into semi-retirement almost over half a decade ago.
Nevertheless it was a good win for Benn on paper, and builds even more momentum within him. That is what it is all about for Conor Benn at this stage, building momentum.
We will truly see the level of Benn, when he reaches a level where deep down the promoter does not know he will win. Hearn knows he is going to beat all of these guys, that is why he matches them with him 'But there is a time in a fighters career, where all of those almost certainties disappear'.
Conor Benn is nearly there, no harm in him having more fights with Khan, Brook or Broner etc

I'm disappointed with Alfieri. People expected Benn to ko him so algeirie should be prepared for it and last distant at least.Comment

Ah, good to know. I couldn’t remember the last time Chris fought. If it was August he’s got no excuses for that performance.Comment

Guys come down, BENN is a prospect. It's not like Ortiz or Ennis beat anyone in the top 5.
It's called matchmaking for a reason...Benn, Ortiz and Ennis have been matched right for a reason, none of them have beaten any KILLERS yet.Comment
