In-ring, Billy Collins Jr. fought to the bell through the illegally sustained injuries that ended his career immediately afterwards.

In terms of both cuts and modern fights, Badou Jack's cut against Marcus Browne was vile.
Good call. Tiger Flowers and Sam Langford also fought for a few years blind in one eye.

Marciano had his nose split in the rematch with Charles before knocking him out. Ref almost stopped that one.

Pacquiao injured shoulder before and during Floyd fight.

Hearns said he broke his hand on Hagler’s head in the first round of their epic fight. Duran also claimed to have injured his right hand in the 5th round of his fight with Hagler.

Basilio’s eye was closed shut during his fight with Robinson. Looked like a plum stick to his head.

Benny Paret allegedly fought with a brain bleed during the Griffith fight that killed him, doctors suspect it was inflicted by Fullmer in Paret’s previous fight.

Gamboa suffered an Achilles tear in the second round of his fight with Tank, kept going to the end.

I heard Rocky's nose was lacerated in two! Does anyone remember the fighter (not Margarito) who had a hard substance in his glove and beat the chit out of his opponent? I heard there is black and white film on it. Rockys nose was flapping around like it was dangling.

I remember Arthur Abraham fighting with a Broken Jaw (was broken in the 4th round) and still finishing and winning a 12 Round Fight vs Edison Miranda

One side of this kind of scenario is where a fighter battles through a bad injury they incur in the fight, such as the aforementioned Abraham vs Miranda, or Danny Williams vs Mark Potter where Williams dislocated his right shoulder and fought one-handed before winning by miracle knockout. Also George Groves had to see out the last round of his fight with Chris Eubank Jr. with one arm in a similar manner, and Naoya Inoue beat Nonito Donaire with a fractured orbital.

The other side is when a fighter comes in injured and knew they weren't fit to fight to begin with and what should have been a good fight ends up being a farce. David Haye vs Tony Bellew (both times) and the example that came to mind when I saw this thread, Sebastian Heiland coming in hobbling like a man with a wooden leg to fight Jermall Charlo.

Gary Mason v Lennox Lewis always stuck with me.

There's a point in the last round, with his eye absolutely knackered where he screws up his face in pain and gave it everything just before the referee finally ended the fight.

            Brave man. RIP.

Inoue vs donaire. Donaire caught him early on with that monster shot, and shattered his orbital bone. Inoue fought the rest of the fight while seeing double.

James Degale losing his teeth but fighting on against Badou Jack. Crazy how much pain these guys can endure.
