If we're talking injuries sustained before the fight, Harry Greb fought the last five years of his career essentially blind in one eye to be a dominant middleweight champion and handing Gene Tunney his only loss - he consistently gamed pre-fight medicals to pass fit, and the eye was removed about a month after his career ended.

In-ring, Billy Collins Jr. fought to the bell through the illegally sustained injuries that ended his career immediately afterwards.

In terms of both cuts and modern fights, Badou Jack's cut against Marcus Browne was vile.

I remember Arthur Abraham fighting with a Broken Jaw (was broken in the 4th round) and still finishing and winning a 12 Round Fight vs Edison Miranda

One side of this kind of scenario is where a fighter battles through a bad injury they incur in the fight, such as the aforementioned Abraham vs Miranda, or Danny Williams vs Mark Potter where Williams dislocated his right shoulder and fought one-handed before winning by miracle knockout. Also George Groves had to see out the last round of his fight with Chris Eubank Jr. with one arm in a similar manner, and Naoya Inoue beat Nonito Donaire with a fractured orbital.

The other side is when a fighter comes in injured and knew they weren't fit to fight to begin with and what should have been a good fight ends up being a farce. David Haye vs Tony Bellew (both times) and the example that came to mind when I saw this thread, Sebastian Heiland coming in hobbling like a man with a wooden leg to fight Jermall Charlo.

There's a point in the last round, with his eye absolutely knackered where he screws up his face in pain and gave it everything just before the referee finally ended the fight.

Arthur Abraham fighting through a broken jaw against the big-punching Edison Miranda is one that's always stayed with me as a reminder of how tough some of these guys are.
