Arthur Abraham fighting through a broken jaw against the big-punching Edison Miranda is one that's always stayed with me as a reminder of how tough some of these guys are.

Shannon Briggs tore his bicep in the first round of the Vitali Klitschko fight. Briggs somehow went 12 rounds fighting with one hand, and took one of the most brutal, savage beatings I've ever seen a fighter stand up to at heavyweight.

David Haye vs Tony Bellew I & II most likely.

For me the perfect, well not perfect but good time for Haye to retire? Would of been after the Tony Bellew I fight.

That night, David Haye went above and beyond the call of duty. As soon as he injured his leg, he was no longer fighting to win.

He was fighting to for his own dignity as a warrior. Even in a losing effort David Haye gained masses of credit. Nobody watching that fight, could question his bravery.

I think Haye was actually in good condition, he seemed really robust and his stamina must of been good 'In order to fight on for so long, while under heavy bombardment from Tony Bellew'.

Tony Bellew won the boxing match, but it seemed during the aftermath that David Haye with his effort 'Had won the fighters, fight'.

All the mocking over his toe explanations against Kiltschko, really had been shut out 'That night against Tony Bellew, David Haye displayed to the boxing fans who he really was'.

Underneath all of the play boy persona, getting his hair braided and wearing fancy clothes. David Haye is a rugged, game, audacious fighter. That is one thing, I think people don't give Haye credit for 'His actual gameness'. He was beckoning Carl Thompson on to fight more, at the time of that stoppage and he was smiling and doing the same against Tony Bellew in their rematch 'All while he was clearly, fighting with a body that was nowhere near 100%'.

Note: I have always thought that Tony Bellew & Eddie Hearn deliberately, forced David Haye into a quick rematch. If Haye was given more time to recover and rehabilitate his injuries, he may have won the rematch. Haye from what I can see, had to re-adapt his whole training for the Bellew rematch 'And his conditioning and strength was just not optimal'.

If Haye ever decides to fight again, he should still face Tony Bellew.

That was a flipping good read. I never followed Haye much but I must say he kept his cool with "profit muscle" that troll bodybuilder on YouTube. If he was a punk he would've knocker pm out. But he behaved like a disciplined fighter and told prophet to quiet it down because he was scaring people. I sometimes wonder what I would do in his case with a disrespectful troll named prophet muscle if I had a heavyweight punch. Freal.

If we're talking injuries sustained before the fight, Harry Greb fought the last five years of his career essentially blind in one eye to be a dominant middleweight champion and handing Gene Tunney his only loss - he consistently gamed pre-fight medicals to pass fit, and the eye was removed about a month after his career ended.

In-ring, Billy Collins Jr. fought to the bell through the illegally sustained injuries that ended his career immediately afterwards.

In terms of both cuts and modern fights, Badou Jack's cut against Marcus Browne was vile.

Paulie fought Cotto with a broken jaw. I believe he broke it early in the fight. This is when Cotto was murderous; Paulie went 12 with no power to hold Cotto off. Tough stuff

Good call! Would love to hear Paulie's caption on that! Dude talks a mile a minute! From what I remember he was moving up a weight class to take the fight.
