“They fight only on Showtime and they’re fighting with guys who they believe they can win this fight,” Lomachenko explained. “They pair their fighters with opponents they feel their boxers can [beat].”
        Couldn't have said it better.

Loma vs Tank would be a great fight. Two extremely athletic fighters with great reflexes, speed and skill. I’d favour Loma but Tank would be a dangerous opponent to overcome.

I think Tank would beat Haney. I’m not sold on Haney, still……

Davis’s last bout was razor close. Loma definitely has the skills to force Tank to think.

Pick about any pre-fight insterview of Davis since Lomachenko became champion at 130 lbs.

But at the same time Lomachenko's team dropped the WBC belt rather than have Devin Haney hanging around as the mandatory. So if you want to talk about boxing politics don't forget to bring up that little incident too.

Do you think Mayweather could make Bud a PPV star at this point in his career?
No way... Only reason he became a star was because of De La Hoya. De La Hoya had mass/cross over appeal (pardon the pun). My wife... knows very little about boxing, knew who de la hoya was... as an example. What Bud needs is to go on social media, talk to the Paul Brothers.... generate a presence...Get woke generation behind him.

How many fighters in history have gone to whatever weight they needed to go to to erase the loss on their record?

A few years ago, Michael Montero, who seems to have inside contacts with the camps of a lot of these fighters, was saying Loma could eventually fight Josh Taylor at 140 lbs in Scotland. Taylor is welterweight size! He is way bigger than Teofimo! And that is the matchup fans want to see! Best vs best! So how come back then, when Loma had put on less muscle, 140 was an option, but not now? Disappointing. Some boxers today talk such a big game, about fighting for legacy, but then they make excuses not to take the biggest legacy fights. Nothing Loma can do at 135 can create the same legacy as him doing it at 140 or 147.
He should have JUMPED at the chance to fight Pacquiao @ 140! Pacquiao had just beaten Matthysse by KO, and was a very hot commodity in the game! Pacquiao would've had to come down 7 lbs., he only had to go up 5lbs.!

Floyd ain’t making bud a star. Hell Floyd made one star his whole time as a promoter and that guy one can say did it himself with the highlight kos of the softest touches they could. At the money bud is gonna want ain’t no way. What are they gonna drain Garcia, feed him Thurman, unretire porter. Outside of Errol their isn’t a ppv worthy fight to make for Crawford at 147. I’m a fan of his but even I ain’t paying ppv to see him fight ugas. Best bet is dazn where his money ain’t tied to ppv exclusively and pbc guys are willing to fight outside of pbc should it come to it for title.
