Nah pac wont beat cotto with just speed but you forget about his footwork and 24ft ring which is an advantage to him

Floyd has been gone, he has fought some decent lefties Judah and Corley to a lesser extent Mitchell. Manny would be better then all those guys though.

Why bring up Baldomir? Most people use these last three fight to show massive improvement in Manny's game, I don't think anyone uses Baldomir as an example of Floyd's greatness.

Are you serious??? Take a look at some of the floyd threads and read about all the guys citing how 1 sided the Baldomir fight was as an argument of Floyd's greatness because of how big he was.

And like I said. Floyd and Manny both share 2 of their past 3 opponents. Both Manny and Floyd are straight punchers. neither DLH or Hatton were very good with it, although DLH had alot of success with his jab early against Floyd.

What Manny Pacquiao has to do is play it safe and take the fight beyong the 8th rounds where cotto is now questionable. Manny has great stamina and he can take advantage of him in the later rounds.

About Judah and Mosley being faster than Pacquiao I doubt it, but I believe Cotto has lost a step. He displayed good speed in some fights, but he's gotten use to planting his feet and staying still. He use to look and act invincible now he has some doubt after his controversial lost to Margarito. He wont ever be the same fighter that is why I believe mosley can beat him now in a rematch although age is not in Mosley favor either.

Baldomir is what he is and a big guy and Floyd won every round. It was great because it was for the lineal title and Baldomir who is ok didn't win a second of the fight. It is the same reason manny's win agains Hatton is considered important, it is not who was beat it was what it was for.

The Oscar jab thing is one of the most over blown things I have ever heard on here.

IMO he takes pacquiaos speed away, beats him to the body, and then breaks him down.

i dont like cotto and i hope pacquiao wins but i just cant see cotto losing to a flyweight, being honest i think he beats down manny to reality.
Old Mosley isn't faster than Pac and Judah has never been capable of fighting 12 full rounds, plus the low blows helped in that one. And Pac isn't a Flyweight, he's a legit LW, maybe JWW but is faster and more skilled than Cotto.

I think you are missing my point friend. You made a statement saying in your opinion Pacquiao has not really improved as much as his last 3 fights would make it seem.

What I was saying is that could the same not be said about Mayweather??? Because there are also alot of people who reference Mayweather's last 3 fights on the debate of his dominance and rightful place as #1 p4p. I definitely dont think Mayweather is as great or skilled as his last 3 fights would make him seem.
