I think if any fighter has proved of Pacquiao's recent opponents that he can neutralize speed, it's Cotto. He's very good at slowing a fight down, or getting his opponent down to his pace which is usually torrid and nonstop pressure. But in a way that his opponents forget to use their speed because they are overwhelmed. I think if Manny keeps and picking his spots, he can win a decision. I highly don't see him winning by KO when Cotto will be somewhere around 160lbs as opposed to Manny's 147lbs on fight night. Roach even said he isn't expecting to knock Cotto out, instead win a decision. I thinkk Roach will just be happy if Manny comes out alive lol.Comment

No way, I promise you Pacman will be the betting favorite if he wins this fight over Mayweather. I think it would be even money right now or either guy slightly ahead, if Pacman wins the hype train will get even bigger.
I am pretty confident on this, Pacman opened as a 2 to 1 favorite on Cotto would you have thought that? I think people will bet with their hearts on Pacman and against Floyd, the hype would also help this.Comment

wanna know why? the hype carrying around...i mean his victories over hatton and DLH were quicker than floyd, and then add COTTO if he wins, add to the fact mayweathers 2 year inactivity and pacquiao being the current number 1 P4P

The right hand thing is also why I think Pacman has looked so good against his last three foes. Oscar has a ****ty right hand, David Diaz does not have a good right hand and Ricky Hatton has never thrown a straight punch in his entire life.
To me this is why Pacman has looked massively improved since his last fight with JMM. He is better then he was a while ago but I don't think he is as much better as his last 3 fights have made it appear.
This is just an observation on his last three opponents, please no one go ape**** crazy over this and say I am trying to discredit Manny.Comment

his last three fights has blinded a lot of people except for the ones who carefully watch the sport and are hardcore boxing fans. i hope pacquiao destroys cotto and mayweathers wins his fight too. there will be too much money involved in mayweather-pacquiao and regardless of what bob arum is saying right now he will change his tone because there is simply too much money involved and arum is greedy.
you cant trust arum anyway he contradicts himself too much, look what he said 4 years ago about floyd when he was promoting him:

if mayweather pacquiao happens, then pacquiao might be the favourite but mayweather has the best right hand lead in the business, n that is the punch that will trouble manny. casual fans and betting sites wont see this, they will just see the hype around manny and make him the favourite and i hope they do make him favourite...tht will be easy moneyComment
