Lopez coming off a loss should go right into a title shot?

that really makes no sense for either fighter. Get a win or 2 at 140, legitimize yourself.

Without the draining to make 135, it could be that we’ll see a much better version of Teo than we’ve been seeing. Maybe, maybe not.

It's so obvious that you are trolling for Teo - Im going to be following your comments closely. I find trolling to be ignoble and a representation of how fake a person is (fake person spectrum = how one acts vs how one actually is, we are all fake however some are further on this spectrum)
        The fakeover for sure.

As if Taylor is intimidated by Lopez or Tank.. People on this site never cease to amaze me. Anyway..After Caterall, Taylor will fight Crawford for mucho dinero in Scotland. As for Lopez, he can fight Postol, Prograis and Ramirez, and see how he does lol

I refer you to my previous answer.

Is there a rule that you have to fight a establish contender when entering a new division? Did Terence Crawford, Naoya Inoue or Saul Alvarez need to fight a scrub in the new weight before challenging a champion? Teo is very ambitious he won the IBF vs. Richard Commey and went right into unification vs. Vasily Lomachenko under 16 professional bouta ; it would seem that their is no change in the 'Takeover'.

Further, Teo's move to jr. welterweight is long overdue, in truth he was a 140 pounder fighting at 135 far too long.

If you ask me, Josh Taylor like Teo wont be able to make the weight much longer, Teo needs to press for this match ASAP, otherwise the 'Tart-Tomato' may lose all the belts on the scales. But I got a feeling that Taylor is going to vacate the titles when the IBF calls for Subriel Matias is granted a shot.

You know what you find fascinating about my 'trolling' : my guile, my wit, my charm, charisma ; attributes that many covet but can not have.
In one area you've been consistent. You've consistently claimed he's struggling at the weight. But Josh has consistently proven you wrong.

Actually there are rules to that. Champions at a lower class can fight the Champion at a higher weight class....I'm pretty sure all the organizations have that rule.

Taylor’s delusions of grandeur are much worse than anything Lopez was suffering from. Taylor is still living off an ugly win against a limited, overrated fighter - even then Taylor had to use those horrible Ben Davison “punch twice and then grab and hold the opponent” tactics.

Medical reports have proven that Lopez should of died vs. Kambosos due to breathing complications, this is also not taking into account the injuries that Teo had going into battle.

Josh Taylor don't want to know how strong the 'Takeover' is at 140, Taylor is fully aware how draining oneself leaves you very weak ; he has been doing it his whole career. Josh Taylor, wont move-up and get his ass kicked by Terence Crawford, but Lopez was already set in his mind that he was going up to jr. welter to put his boot up Taylor's ass.

Jack Catterall wont go past 5 rounds with Teofimo Lopez, he sucks and nobody is interested in this weak title defense. Josh Taylor, fight somebody, move-up or vacate!
Absolute garbage. I checked Teo’s supposed condition on the nhs site here in the uk and lot only is it not remotely serious, in most people it goes away by itself. Moreover, he was photo’s smoking a hooka pipe in the run up to the fight so if he’s got a respiratory condition, he most likely is responsible himself through crap preparation. Plus he had Covid and it’s a well know side effect. Taylor hasn’t had any issues making weight and has literally beaten everyone at 140. Moving up is a money thing. Lopez showed against Kam that he’s slow on his feet and flat footed. He’s also a weight bully. If anyone would be at a disadvantage at 140 it’s Lopez as he’s smaller and he’ll be slower on his feet at the higher weight. Easy fight for Taylor.

Delusions of grandeur? He’s beaten literally everyone at 140 conclusively aside from Prograis which was close and is only the second undisputed champion in the 5 belt era. I reckon that entitles him to a degree of grandeur personally.

Some tough contenders at 140, if Teo can beat one of them he'd deserve a shot but otherwise no.
