I thought Cruz fought beautifully. However, it was just not enough to win him this fight. It was a close fight but I thought Davis' ring generalship and movement is what carried the day for him. Isaac did land more than his share of flush punches though; Especially to the body.

Ring generalship matters when you avoid more damage than you dish, defense is its own reward in that it is easier to beat someone whose landing very little on you.
Unfortunately, Davis was getting hit more, than he was dishing out and if thats the case, I dont think youre doing it right.
