I don't normally watch anything other than 147, but every now and then I pay attention when there is chatter about someone. I know the typical criticism from critics is to always question a fighter's resume. He's won titles in different divisions, so what exactly is the criticism?

This will be his 26th fight and only his 3rd opponent ranked in the top 10 of the division he fought the in at the time of the fight.

With Crawford and Inoue you called them top P4P without beating anyone, but with Tank, you don't rate him without those fights? Why aren't you consistent? Do you work for Top Rank?

Santa Cruz was ranked at featherweight, not super featherweight, when Davis fought him for the super featherweight and fake lightweight titles.tritium_arma likes this.

#6 Isaac Cruz tonight
#7 Jose Pedraza (reigning IBF super featherweight champion)
#9 Mario Barrios
That's it. The former champions he fought besides Pedraza were all aged and in the wrong weight class:
Cristobal Cruz (0-4-1 in his previous five fights, five years and one weight class removed from his title reign at featherweight)
Hugo Ruiz (two weight classes and three years removed from his title reign at super bantamweight)
Yuriorkis Gamboa (two weight classes and eight years removed from his title reign at featherweight)
Leo Santa Cruz (technically had a belt at both feather and super feather, but was unranked at super; easily the best win of the four, though)

Tank grabbing regular belts. People sht on Bud resume but a prime Postol who gave Taylor hell would beat the sht outta Barrios quicker than how Tank did.
