I think you’ve hit the nail, really. The only difference I have with you here is that what you describe as Joshua’s run of opponents isn’t unique to him. Most of the HW division’s contenders are boxers who stay in contention right into retirement age. It’s kind of a disgrace, but these are the guys who were put in front of him as challengers to his former belts.
My point is, with these guys he really can just turn up and roll them over. But it’s not obvious to the average fan that Usyk, who they have judged through this filter, is a cut above the rest.
