at “flashy quick combinations” being the limit of your understanding of boxing.

White and Mexican fighters have never been a threat to any of my favorite fighters. Off the top of my head, I don’t think any of my favorite fighters have ever loss to a white or a Mexican fighter lol.

Well…Lomachenko had to drop his WBC title just to make the better fight happen vs the more proven fighter, with better wins, Teofimo Lopez.

That's simply not true.

The WBC had not called for the mando yet. So Lomachenko and Teofimo were free to fight.

The winner would then have likely had to face Haney. But Top Rank removed him from the picture by asking for Franchise Champion status and having Lomachenko drop the belt.

He’s a young talented fighter and seems like a decent chap.

Jojo Diaz is a solid dude and Devin won the fight comfortably.

If he can sort out his defensive issues he’ll be a very tough guy to beat.

He just passed a legit test against JoJo Diaz and a lot of people thought Haney would lose.

Everyone claims that his belt is fake when it’s the “Franchise” designation that’s actually fake. It was literally created out of thin air so Lomachenko wouldn’t have to face Devin Haney.

That’s why Haney was elevated from interim champion to full champion by the WBC.

Then I hear people say that no one is interested in fighting Devin Haney, even guys like Ryan Garcia who have never won a world title.

Last but not least, I see people giving the other top guys a pass by saying that Tank,Teo, etc would destroy Haney anyway, yet none of those guys seem to share your confidence.

Because he is associated with Floyd Mayweather.

Anybody associated with Floyd will be hated on.
