I bet everybody would be lining up to fight JoJo Diaz for the belt if he had pulled the upset.

The whole “I’m not worried about Haney” argument is code for “I hope someone else beats him because he’s a difficult matchup”
Nobody cares about Haney’s fake belt either.

I told y'all JoJo was going to get his ass whooped! I wonder how come so many boxing fans didn't see this coming though? He only had a puncher's chance. Diaz problem was that he showed Haney too much respect. He was just too afraid of letting his hands go. He only fought in spurts.

In addition, that had to have been one of the dumbest and most ****** game plans I've ever seen. How you are going to walk down a natural boxer when you are not even a puncher and without throwing punches? With that style he was going to need a knockout to win the fight. He needed to get inside and outwork Devin Haney but he didn't.

However, congratulations to Devin Haney though on a dominating performance. I can't wait to see the undisputed bout between himself and George Kambosos, Jr. I am really looking forward to seeing that bout.

I'm judging it based on when they started booing him

Looks like we'll soon have a true "UNDISPUTED" Champion @ 135! Haney might as well go to Australia, since he can't get love in his own city! Good performance by the champ!

I predicted a dominant win for Haney. I was wrong. Thought he’d use this as an opportunity to prove all his critics wrong.

He got the win but didn’t really impress.

Actually the “franchise” is what’s fake. The WBC made up that designation out of thin air so Lomachenko wouldn’t have to honor his mandatory against Devin Haney.

Who did Haney beat? No one unfortunately, but only because Loma was given a pass. That’s the only reason why Haney was elevated from interim champion to full champion.

Let me ask you this: who did Lomachenko beat to become “franchise”?

Definitely not an ass whooping Haney won 8-4/7-5 because JoJo didn't throw enough and Haney used his boxing skills plus range to land pot shots. I believe when Devin punches people it helps them instead of hurting them he has absolutely 0 power negative maybe.

I thought JoJo had his moments but at no time in that fight that I believed Diaz was in command. He was plodding Haney around the ring without throwing punches. While Haney was throwing and landing the cleaner punches. i grant you that he didn't get the knockout victory but JoJo was just too afraid of letting his hands go.I scored it 9-3 in favor of Haney.
