We Mexicans are not with that victim mentality like a certain other group, but you are right one can’t help but think what the reaction would be if the roles were reversed. I think we all know the answer to that. Also, even though we don’t have a victim mentality there is a point where we have to stand up to the bigotry being dispensed by some of these black boxers…I mean the animosity is quite apparent as shown by the multiple black boxers and by many black boxing fans who demonstrate extreme saltiness at Canelo being the face of boxing.Comment

Doesn’t bother me in the least. I think Devin will take care of all of this in the ring. If I’m wrong I’ll acknowledge I was.
Should bother you given your posts on sanctioning body garbage and politics. Of course you’re not concerned about that inconsistency because you’re too busy celebrating that a black fighter got jobbed by the sanctioning body. Hooray!
Hopefully Kambosis fights Haney. Unlike Loma who dropped his belt rather than fight him.Comment

I honestly wish fighters would just go all in and be savages about this instead of *****footing lmao. I don’t buy that “I’m paying homage” bullcrap, just keep it real but don’t be offended if stuff happens back. Broner says a bunch of racist crap towards Mexicans but was triggered when Robert and Mikey called him an ape. I agree that was tasteless from the Garcías but don’t dish it if you can’t take it.When Floyd did that to mock odh and ingratiate himself with Mexicans I Thought it was funny. Was part of the whole Mayweather loves Mexicans schtick.
The world is much different now. Many people get honestly offended by these types of actions, even if they aren’t intended to be. It’s best that any cultural appropriation that can be seen as racist because it offends be stopped.
The other reason I would suggest this be stopped is when black fighters do this it gives racist opportunists like the TS ammunition to fake being offended to race bait or try to start a race war online.
Uncle Roger was the “Mexican Killer” and Pacquiao was the “Mexicutioner.” Both were highly respected by Mexicans, we love both of those guys.

So when Mexicans respond to bigotry it’s standing up to it. When black people do same it’s a victims mentality? We Mexicans are not with that victim mentality like a certain other group, but you are right one can’t help but think what the reaction would be if the roles were reversed. Mexicans aren’t but you are. You’re obviously the alt of a banned poster. No, that’s not what I said. I believe in sanding up to bigotry when it is real, not when it comes from a place of insecurity or entitlement.

It's just lame and unoriginal, same as Haney flashing money. Quit copying Floyd Mayweather!!!
Tank is not Floyd, Haney is not Floyd.
Funny thing is people said Broner was being like Floyd but turns out he wasn't, atleast he did his own thing even though it may have took Floyd disowning him first lmaoComment

Floyd genuinely hated Fishnets. He felt he was like a fake Mexican that was more American. So he did anything he could to piss him off. Doesn’t justify it but I don’t think fans cared because I think a lot of Mexicans have always questioned that about odh. I recall this being a theme during the Chavez buildup as well.

But the mayweather loves Mexicans was just promotion. Also remember Roger wore sombreros as part of his ring outfit so it was also paying homage to him.
Just needs to stop given where society is. With Floyd fans got mad and then let it go. Now fools on both sides will start trippin.
Dont need any of that.
