I mean it's a reoccurring theme specifically with black pbc fighters when they fight cherrypicked Mexican fighters but I feel like hankey might do it too.
Yeah, I’m getting pretty sick of that trend and no one ever brings it up. If the roles were reversed it would be an uproar. Imagine a Mexican fighter wearing some African inspired garbs, like a dashiki, to taunt a black American fighter?
And I think you meant Tank will do it (again) right?

I agree but there actually should be a fighter (doesn't have to be Mexican or latino) to come out with an afro and dashiki. Nicknamed the "Afrocutioner". I mean it's literally right there. That shlt would make money lol

It would lol boxing is getting too woke though (Rolly getting canned over some sloots saying he’s a perv, Fury apologizing to ***s, ect) so I’m not sure that would go well. I’m Mexican myself and find it annoying black boxers do this but I would never feel offended or wish a boxer get in trouble. It’s fun banter at the end of it and leave the woke bullcrap out of boxing, this is a raw ass sport and racial tension has been a big part of the history.
Afrocutioner would be hilarious if done right lol. Tyson Fury?
It's become a boxing trope. I've always taken it as trying to ingratiate yourself with the Hispanic audience. Also, I think a lot of boxers like the pageantry that comes with wearing the sombrero/poncho. Just look at Chris Colbert.

Are there betting odds on this? Lol
I actually have money on Jojo beating Haney. Looking at Haney's resume, lack of power, questionable chin and questionable heart. I seriously believe we might see a massive upset. I have never rated Haney. Hasn't been legitimate fighters. Linares was KO'd stiff numerous times and Haney won a decision. Jojo looks good and ready.

- - l'il Floydy give him one of his sombreros with a beanie propeller on it to set the stage for the smush'em up.

It’s only traditional Mexican attire and national colors that get mocked though. I don’t see any other country or ethnicity deal with that.
The most tasteless example was Salka coming out with those brick wall trunks lmao. Glad Vargas quickly disposed of that chump.
When Floyd did that to mock odh and ingratiate himself with Mexicans I Thought it was funny. Was part of the whole Mayweather loves Mexicans schtick.
The world is much different now. Many people get honestly offended by these types of actions, even if they aren’t intended to be. It’s best that any cultural appropriation that can be seen as racist because it offends be stopped.
The other reason I would suggest this be stopped is when black fighters do this it gives racist opportunists like the TS ammunition to fake being offended to race bait or try to start a race war online.
