McDermott clearly won the fight tonight, yet another ridiculous decision in boxing! Fury was not ready for a fight with someone like Dermott who showed ring experience does matter in there. Now im not going to write Fury off because it's early days but he defiantly needs to imrprove drastically, tonight he seem to of ran out of idea's. A new trainer would be the first option as he wont learn much more from him by the looks of things. He does have the basics there though but he needs that extra push, for now though he should stick to fighting a few more bums to gain some more experience.

What about all those who didn't turn box until their late 20s and still turned out to be top fighters in their category?

It's a shame this forum lacks good boxing fans.

I guess the only positive is that he took some good shots and showed a chin, his hand speed was pretty good to, but he is terrible on the backfoot and he looks petrified of getting hit. I dont know why though because he took some good shots in that fight.

He definitely needs to get a new trainer but i doubt he will.

Thanks for making a decent post instead of all the drivel in here.

He's get plenty of time to get a new trainer and learn some of the skills he's lacking.
