Spot on. At times he showed he's got a hell of a lot of potential. In the long term he'll be much better off for the fight, even if he should be 6-1 after it. I don't think he really ever looked like he shouldn't have been in there though ... maybe not the best management but it was hardly all one-sided.LOL, This is only Fury's 8th fight. He wasn't ready to be in the same ring with a guy as seasoned as McDermott. That was clear for all to see, but Fury showed a lot more good stuff then bad IMO.
Fury's still learning. The ref got it wrong tonight but that's not Fury's fault.Comment

Apprently he wants to challenge for the Irish heavyweight belt next.
Anyone find it intresting that McDermott had been sparring with David Price upon this fight? I did. Price and Fury been bad mouthing each other since both turned pro. Price obviously gave McDermott pointers on how to beat Fury.
