LOL, This is only Fury's 8th fight. He wasn't ready to be in the same ring with a guy as seasoned as McDermott. That was clear for all to see, but Fury showed a lot more good stuff then bad IMO.

Fury's still learning. The ref got it wrong tonight but that's not Fury's fault.

Spot on. At times he showed he's got a hell of a lot of potential. In the long term he'll be much better off for the fight, even if he should be 6-1 after it. I don't think he really ever looked like he shouldn't have been in there though ... maybe not the best management but it was hardly all one-sided.

Anyone find it intresting that McDermott had been sparring with David Price upon this fight? I did. Price and Fury been bad mouthing each other since both turned pro. Price obviously gave McDermott pointers on how to beat Fury.
