I give a lot of latitude to guys starting... They have to make mistakes to learn... And its a real fine line making mistakes that cost one dearly, and coasting through the guys who will allow you to develop as a fighter... Just knockin them all down lol.
I’d only say Butterbeans reputation was knocking guys out within 4 rounds . This guy looked like he was looking for rounds or surprised his opponent was still standing which he probably isn’t use to if he’s landing with intent to hurt ,I thought he carried him for every round but the last minute of the fight or didn’t trust his stamina in his pro debut so he coasted .
Butterbean was best doing what he did well imo...But yeah I would not compare him to being ready for a 12 round bout with a well trained prospect or decent fighter.Comment

Did you see U.K heavyweight prospect George Fox lose last week to journeyman Sokolowski . That’s a prime example fighters overlook guys ,Fox was looking for Alen Babic fight . Sokolowski is pretty tough to fight I believe many thought he also beat David Adeleye another U.K prospect. I give way more lean way if a new comer loses to very experienced fighters early in their career . Sokolowski also gave highly touted Vlad Sirenko all he could handle in a close fight loss , I would like to see what other prospects can do against him to compare . Sokolowski is having his best performances now he must have a new team or something.

I didn't but its a perfect example lol. If you look at Mexican fighters they turn pro early, and just fight a lot. I think the amatuers is a way fighters do that, but as a professional they tend to fight less and with more at stake. When you say they thought Sokolowki also beat Adeleye... often people look at the judge's decisions and not the fights lol. So the judges make a decision in a fight where many might think otherwise. Then when this guy beat the prospect (Fox) it all makes sense suddenly. Prospects against prospects is a great and accurate way of ranking the guys.
