i hear paper tank whining like a little b***h about how people are critisizeing him - its easy to shut them up, all you have to do is fight anyone serious in any division. maybe if you do that, tickets for your fights wont be selling on groupon.....
PBC will never put their biggest fraud, the paper tank, in against anyone serious, in any division - they know exactly what would happen to him. almost everyone would see what a fraud he is then. SEE PAPER TANK RUN, that will be the result of any mandatory with anyone serious (I cant recall a more accomplished runner, he has already run from everyone serious in 3 divisions)... to help everyone understand, GO to paper tanks boxrec page. only 2 names which are even recognizable - one way past his prime when paper tank fought him and the other two weight divisions above where he had any achievements. thats all the paper tank can handle. if PBC were confident that he could handle anything else, you can be sure that we would have seen better matchups by now... this needs to be called out. just dont pay for this type of nonsense that PBC puts on most of their cards - its the only way we will ever get the best matchups in boxing....Last edited by worldcitizen111; 12-03-2021, 12:08 PM.The Conundrum likes this.

The match up is what sells. If Davis picks another no name fighter he won't do those good numbers as he would if he fought one of the top 135 pounders.

“And then a lotta times, the media, y’all be like, ‘Well, what’s the game plan? When he go out there, what’s the game plan?’ I’m not gonna tell y’all the f------’ game plan.
“So what? An opponent can go home and say, ‘Oh, that’s the game plan? Well, I’m gonna do something different.’ So, what I used to do is always give y’all a bull**** game plan, tell y’all what I wanna tell y’all. We never gonna tell y’all the game plan. The game plan is to tune in.”
and start giving away the actual gameplan/strategy.
Reporters asking a fighter how he plans to fight his opponent is the equivalent of a baseball reporter asking a pitcher which pitches is he going to use vs the batters he is going to face. “Will you throw a lot of sliders or curveballs or do you just plant to hit them with the high heat (fastball)?”
Or asking an NFL coach “Hey can you show us your playbook please? we want to know what plays you are running with in offense and defense. Please show us because the fans are eager to know and we want the credit for breaking this story.”BustedKnuckles likes this.

I dont include Davis into my 135 considerations at all because he is not there to leave legacy or fight the competitive fights. SO if he ends up fighting someone interesting, Ill watch. Otherwise he is a non-consideration at this point.

You can see Mayweather is coddling him the same way he tip-toed around fighters for years.

I understand the argument of saying I’m selling more than you, I deserve the bigger share of the pie. My question is how large of a piece does Tank want/deserve?
is he generating 50% more money than his opponents? 75%? Are we talking multiple millions in difference or hundred thousand?
And even if you’re generating all the money you still need a dance partner. Why not invest in yourself by taking slightly less money picking an opponent that will raise your stock? Ellebe says only the hardcore fans know Haney, implying we don’t matter to them, but it is us hardcore fans that help raise the profile of fighter. We buy the PPV’s invite friends to watch and tune them into new fighters.
