Jr Mak was unconscious before he hit the canvas. Some Scary Sh/t!
That was like 5,6 yrs ago or some shiz, thats like saying "Canelo will get destroyed by Benevidez because he was schooled on pts by Floyd at age 23"

Makabu is on a decent run for a CW & will be even more so if he kos Mchunu again.

(Mchunu beat Chambers at least before he got kod by Makabu)(these guys are huge fighters that are elite in their division for a reason even if they're less skillful their size is important, these guys compete at HW & Chambers who Mchunu beat went 12 with Klitschko & prime Povetkin,& he beat an old Ross Purity who beat Klitschko.

Bellow would've slept both Benevidez & Andrade at cw too imho,

I mean do you think Andrade/Fatavidez would beat someone like Chambers who comes into the ring at full-blown heavyweight?

I don't think Canelo is facing a 200 pound Makabu, so there is that also.
You gotta keep in mind that Makabu will likely gain 25-30 lbs overnight

(because CWs are literally just HWs draining down to gain an advantage to become champ easier than HW & because the weight their starting from is 190-200 they will gain more lbs than a mw for example, they gain based on the percentage. )

Remember that Bellew "wanted"to fight Wilder but retired before Wilder could collapse his face in.

But does 1 single name overrule a prolonged run against top 10?(Dirrell had to quit cheat V Yildirim)

In 2016 Makabu was 29, if he fights in May he'll be 34.
Jr's not getting older, he's getting better.

Makabu has gotten a lot better too because CWs are already less skillful as it is than say a smw like Canelo now is,but African fighters have to learn on the job sorta speak & when you combine the 2 together you have a Makabu who at 34 is much better than at 29 when he was very green & very low ring iq. (Which is why he only recently got a belt for 1st time)

(Just like Beterbieve didn't win his belt til like 34 yrs old. )

For all we know Benevidez can get relatively worse as he ages because he will have to move up v bigger better opponents (the possibility is there to be exposed completely like others like Broner who also had problems.)

Yes when those guys were trash and someone brought up the age difference.

Who performed better against Sulecki, Jacobs or Andrade?
It wouldn’t matter if Andrade KOed both of the in ten seconds on the same night. What you’re not comprehending is that wins of any kind against Vanes or Sulecki isn’t the stuff good resumes are made of.

The intelligent answer is Benevides. Neither resume is very good but the win over Dirrell wins it for Benevides.

Andrade has literally only fought 2 top ten guys in 31 fights.

Dirrell had a belt (twice) and Benavidez stopped him in the ring for it. Andrade won two vacant belts and has never stepped into the ring with any legitimate titlist. No active titlist, no former titlists, and thus far none of his previous opponents went on to win a title later. 31 fights, 0 titlists, 2 top 10s for a guy with 31 fights.

Benavidez's resume is absolutely paper thin, there's no denying that. But a resume that goes 1 deep is still better than a resume than goes 0 deep.
