Only thing Wilder has is a bomb and nothing else, his punch resistance is most likely shot now as well.
Bombs are all you need in this sport.

It doesn't make sense for them at all. Better off waiting a little while and then fighting when a vacant world title is at stake or at least an interim world title.

Wilder would definitely be the favourite with bookmakers. It would be around 2/5 Wilder 13/8 Ruiz IMO.

I highly doubt it, Ruiz would absolutely be the favorite right now. Wilder was just brutally stopped in back to back fights by light punching Fury. Lol why would be be the favorite against someone like Ruiz?

In house fight between two top 10 ranked Americans, one Mexican American one black American, held all the belts between them not all that long ago, big punching power vs Mexican chin, Ruiz 1-1 with the guy people always wanted Wilder to fight. Of course it makes sense, its one of the most high profile fights either could be in now.

But why do the fight now when nothing is at stake when you can wait for a title to become available. They're very close to being the top two WBC contenders. Why ruin the plan now and do the fight before there's a title on the line or at least a title shot on the line?

Not likely. Fury and Usyk are obviously top 2 guys in division, I would say Sanchez could be N. 3. I would rate Wilder as N. 4.
