Looks like we're going to get Fig v Fulton 2 unless Figo ducks it,what is it with fighters ducking rematches after losses?

i thought Figo won the fight, but this is some strange bs that 2 fighters lost their belts on same night after crying robbery & neither seems to want the rubber match?

I scored it a draw and I'd love to see a rematch.

I didn't have a rooting interest the first fight but the second fight I'd root for Fulton. Regardless of whom you think won the fight, only one of the two is carrying themselves like a champion in the aftermath and that's Steph.

Brandon was robbed blind. Why would he want a repeat of that? 126 might be even a better division for him without draining. Fight Cruz or Russell.

You'd think he'd want to avenge that loss though by showing hes definitively better as that 1 loss will now forever tarnish his perfect record. There will be a lot of hype for the rematch now too. The problem also is I'm not sure Russell or Cruz want him next(unless I missed something?)

He can't beat the dodgy Haymon scorecards doe.

Even if he thinks he won, he should have acted with more class after the fight.

Especially after Julio Ceja beat him and got handed a draw a few years back.

That fight was extremely close. I scored it a draw, but I would have been fine with 7-5 Figueroa or 7-5 Fulton. Calling it a robbery either way is absurd.

He doesn't wanna rematch him because he outgrew the weight class, and it's not worth the hustle of another camp. Win or lose, he was gonna move up. Brandon is a dog and I will always be a fan.

Thought Figueroa edged it but one of those fights where it can be scored any number of ways and I won't complain. I am very impressed with Fulton though, he is a very goof boxer but he holds his own in wars and is willing to engage in them. His future is bright in my opinion. Curious how Figueroa does at a higher weight....

It's close. I have no problem which one got it as I personally thought it will be up to judges' personal preference.

I wont mind an immediate rematch. It was action-packed.

Brandon was clear that he was moving up in his next fight so I don’t see how there is a rematch.

It was a tough close fight that could’ve gone either way. Brandon wasn’t robbed. He just lost. It happens.
