I'm not saying Teo is a bad fighter, but when your Dad is telling you your doing well and winning, and its clear that he's not? Your never going to be able to make the correct adjustments. Ego and emotion cost him the fight, not a lack of ability. And it will cost them more if they don't address the issue. That's not to take away from Kambosos, he was great on the night, and many underestimated him. But I don't see him cleaning out the division.
And I never saw Neofimo either.
Heck, I would like him to rematch Loma so I can laugh a lot.

Teo can come again believe it or not he just needs to get rid of his dad as trainer
But that appears to be the issue here though and you even alluded to it...."seniors" aspirations and plans? With remarks like "I don't need no rematch" and such, its apparent Sr is living through his son which can cloud decisions, decisions that are not longer at the best interest of Jr. As a father myself as well, you obviously have a plan and path you want your kids to follow,I get that. But kids have they're own strengths and weaknesses that we need to be aware of and make decisions/adjustments accordingly,I'm not so sure Sr is capable of doing that. As a father,he should be able to see his sons mental fragility, his own shortcomings and do what's best for Jr,not himself so let's hope he does.

We're all monday morning quarterbacking here and haven't walked in thier shoes so wtf do we know. We do know Sr was giving Jr little to no worthwhile advice in between rounds so there's that at a minimum.

Yeah, a rematch @ 140 would be great!

A Tank fight would be great. But Ellerbe and Mayweather have no interest in it. Josh has his mind set on 147. He wants to be a 2 weight champion. And he loves that Crawford fight. It's his dream fight right now. Everyone else is kinda irrelevant to him at the moment. That's not in a disrespectful way. Just that he has his target and is truly focused on it and little else is coming into his thoughts. If he can't get that fight straight away, he has 2 options. Vacate and prepare for 147. Or he'll have his WBC mandatory to take care of against Zepeda. I'm just itching for the Catteral fight to happen, and as Saturday showed us, nothing can be taken for granted.

            The Khan/Brook winner?

I'm not saying I want to see it but he'd make some money in just about as soft of an intro to 147 that he's realistically going to see

That's a moot point now lol, that fight aint happening. And its just as well for him as Loma would be fit and would get started in the first and not the seventh.

Why do you need to rematch someone when you won 10-2?

He doesn't need a soft intro. He needs a tough fight to ensure he has the strength for the division. Brook isn't soft. He was in the fight with Crawford until he got clipped. Anyone who thinks he's soft is sadly mistaken.

Yeah but that isn't the logic the boxing world uses. Low risk, high reward is what most fighters go for and I can't really blame them, it's "prizefighting"

I think Brook is shot but we'll see.

Either way though the winner of Brook/Khan will get some career momentum at least for one more fight and they can get another decent fight after.

If it's not Crawford next which is what I was replying to, I can't see anybody being higher in the list of the potential opponents than the winner of Khan/Brook for Taylor. It's an easy PPV sell to the football crowd, he beats either comfortably imo and as they've both fought Crawford recently a good way to sell a fight with Crawford afterwards.

His mistake - singular? I saw quite a few mistakes he made the other night. Several of them likely directly contributed to the loss. His major mistake was to not invite an equal co-trainer or get his son a trainer that can properly articulate strategic concepts in between rounds.
