Teo told George to "suck his d--k" in the final press conference and George somewhat obliged when he beat him thoroughly and blew him out of the ring. So as they say be careful what you ask for! As we all know it was also only a split decision on the cards.

Teo's head exploded with grand expectations he was unable to back up. He and his father embarrassed themselves post fight displaying a lack of character second only to Broner. He's done unless he learns how to box and finds some class within the trash he has scattered all over his once promising career.

People love to talk about how "young" Teofimo is but the problem with that is the way his career is going he'll either be retired or gatekeeper status by age 30.

It's a case of "Who needs him?" at 140.
The answer is no one really. Everyone is aiming at getting a mandatory shot at Taylor, who has Catterall then Prograis to deal with first.
Teo lost a lot of fans along with his belts and "0" on the weekend, it is going to take some rebuilding before he starts calling out the big guns.

It's his dream fight right now. Everyone else is kinda irrelevant to him at the moment. That's not in a disrespectful way. Just that he has his target and is truly focused on it and little else is coming into his thoughts. If he can't get that fight straight away, he has 2 options. Vacate and prepare for 147. Or he'll have his WBC mandatory to take care of against Zepeda. I'm just itching for the Catteral fight to happen, and as Saturday showed us, nothing can be taken for granted.
